NCFE CACHE L2 Award in Awareness of Dementia (NEW) Qualification No 600/3095/1

Qualification Aim:

The qualification aims to develop learners’ knowledge and awareness of dementia for those working in social care settings. It is aimed at learners in school or college, or those working for local authorities or private commercial homeowners. Learners will develop an understanding and awareness of the causes and symptoms of dementia. The qualification may also allow learners to progress into employment in social care settings.

Work placement experience

There is no requirement for learners to be working, therefore, work experience is not mandatory. This is a knowledge only qualification

Course Information

How many credits are required to complete it?

To be awarded this qualification, learners are required to successfully achieve 4 mandatory units with a minimum of 8 credits.
