NCFE L2 Adult Social Care Certificate (NEW) Qualification No 610/4131/2

Qualification Purpose:

This qualification is based on the Care Certificate Standards and develops the knowledge and skills needed when working in adult social care settings in England. It is designed for all learners working in adult social care and is being introduced to the sector to:

Work Placement Experience

Learners must spend a minimum of 40 hours working, volunteering or on practical placement to be able to show competence in both knowledge and skills.

Skills Based Learning Outcomes

Skills-based learning outcomes and assessment criteria must be assessed via direct observation in the workplace as the main source of evidence and be carried out over an appropriate period of time. A minimum of one direct observation of practice is required.

How many credits are required to complete it?

To be awarded this qualification, learners are required to successfully achieve 15 mandatory units.

The qualification will be internally assessed and externally quality assured.
